Private Day Tour to Stirling Castle and The Trossachs.


This private day tour takes you on a historical and beautiful journey across Central Scotland and the lower Highlands.

Start of the day.

The driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation at 08:00am, and as we leave town there maybe a few sights to see on the way. The journey takes 60-90mins (depending on pick up location)

Stirling Castle.

Stirling is a small city and as we climb the Castle Rock we see many fine buildings including the Old Town Jail, the Church of the Holy Rude, Mar’s Wark and the Argyll’s Lodgings.

The main attraction is the visit to the mighty Stirling Castle (admission fee not included), which is Scotland’s finest medieval castle. It has stunning views from the battlements over to the National Wallace Monument, the River Forth and West towards the Trossachs and Loch Lomond.

Doune Castle & Deanston Distillery

Next, we head to Doune Castle (admission fee not included) of “Monty Python” and “Outlander” fame.
Fancy a Whisky Distillery Tour and Tasting (tour cost not included) at Deanston Distillery (also used in Outlander)?
They also have a small café with great fresh local food, so lunch can be taken here.

Trossachs drive to Aberfoyle

After lunch we take the simply stunning Dukes Pass road through the Trossachs, travelling to the small picturesque town of Aberfoyle
After some time to wander the village, maybe pick up some souvenirs and maybe take in the “Dog and Ducks Show”, it’s then a comfortable drive through some more scenic views , and back to your accommodation.
